Hootsuite - Social Media Tools app good for
I have been using hoot suite since it came out and even though there are other programs that propose the same type of services... I still use this one. I am about to upgrade to pro. Wish it would incorporate tumblr.
The app is awesome and lets you easily work from your mobile/tablet or laptop browser.
Even if you just use it as a semi-private standalone Twitter client Hooty is superior even to many apps who where build to do this specifically like Ubersocial and the like.
Soweit ich sehen kann ist dies eine App, die nicht von mir verlangt, den Zugriff auf meine persönlichen Daten frei zu geben (Standort z.B., Adressbuch usw.) Das finde ich prima - nutze sie allerdings nur für Twitter.
As far as I can see this app doesnt force me to allow access to my personal data like Place or address book. Thats great - but I am only using it for Twitter, so I dont know about the other features.
Overall I have to admit it’s a great app which let’s you flawlessly distribute social content via various channels. The integrated report function gives you a great overview about your social media accounts (e.g. reachability, engagement of followers) and helps you to adopt your social strategy accordingly. 5 Stars from me!
Im using Hootsuite to do social marketing for my book The Berlin Diaries and its hugely useful for scheduling messages, keeping track of mentions, messages and more, across twitter and facebook. Great stuff! Recommended for indie authors!
Some bad moments
It would be great if access to different functionalities with VoieOver could be improved: consistent button labelling (some are in French other remain in English), give focus to each element (see tweet on tweet scheduling), allowing vocalisation of notifications such as tweet scheduled.
I was about to buy Pro for my online business.. When I quickly learned I cant even open the IOS app; it does nothing but crash. Fix your problem for the biggest mobile platform out there if you want your business to strive. Look forward to it being fixed.
Not as user-friendly as it should be. Glitchy, doesnt like to sync the desktop with the app version consistently. Frustrating. May not continue past the 30 day trial.
With the most recent update I cannot even open the application. I love using Hootsuite and had no issues thus far and would have highly recommended the application.
None of what I had scheduled show up in any of my social media. Tried multiple times.
I cant seem to schedule posts for Instagram. Its compressing all my images to pixelated squares and its driving me crazy. Hootsuite used to be a great app. Displeased
